What is CCTP?
CCTP is a permissionless on-chain utility that can burn native USDC on a source chain and mint native USDC of the same amount on a destination chain, enabling USDC to flow natively across blockchains — unifying liquidity in Web3 and simplifying user experience
The advantages of CCTP for Allbridge Core
This update allows Allbridge Core users to benefit from minimum slippage cross-chain transfers for all USDC routes where CCTP is available. The new swap option will power USDC transfers between Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Ethereum.
New exciting updates
In the future, we plan to introduce CCTP to more chains as new networks become supported by the Circle team. Having recently showcased our testnet demo at Breakpoint, we are looking at Solana as the next big CCTP update once it goes live on the mainnet.
